Fully faltoo is employed

I'm a wodehouse fan. Besides his humour and his ridiculous plots I have always had a thing for the Bertie wooster kind of lifestyle. Who wouldnt like to live like that, eh? In a way, subconsciously, my decision to work as a freelancer was heavily influenced by good old PG. No boss, no orders, just live life at your own pace and your own sweet will. But even good things lose their sheen and pale after some time. Guess that's what happenend to me. Of late I began to be envious of people with jobs and would look longingly at folks rushing to work. Much has changed in the last decade in India. When I was working as a journalist most of the women in my neighbourhood were housewives. Today, it's hard to find any woman who does not have a job. More reason for me to believe that I was missing out on something. Well, all that has changed now. I've gone and got myself a nine to five job. I'm part of India's teeming workforce. Cool, eh? Every morning i join tens of thousands of others and travel 40 kms across the city to the business hub of Gurgaon. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. I'm a job trainer which means that i impart language and other skills to employees. I get to teach- which is what i love and i get to meet new people. It's almost like getting paid for having a good time. Do i see a green tinge in anyone's eyes out there?
