Say Au revoir not goodbye

I hate goodbyes. They are so permanent. I prefer the French 'au revoir'- till we meet again. There's hope and promise there. Who knows what might happen the next instant but atleast there is no forever tag attached to it!
Since i came into teaching I meet a lot of new people all the time. And when i see them everyday for weeks they quickly become like family. We learn about each other, make friendly banter, argue and confide. Then one day the batch comes to an end and it's all over. Parting is always a strain but some batches really leave a hole in your heart.
Batch 218 is one. Well boyz...eet waz a pleasure teaching you! Honestly. Wish you luck in life. You are all great human beings.
Deepak- the most sincere, sweet and of course regular! Also desperately trying to shake off his regional accent- dont worry- you'll get there!
Amit- temperamental and sensitive, his big frame hiding a soft heart- 'If someone ever bothers you just give me a call- especially cops...!'
Lalit- trying to look serious with those glasses but always breaking into laughter at the wrong moment!
And Ujjwal- cool dude, ambitious, hard working and the most expressive.
I wont forget you. Keep in touch.
