The folly of unnecessary fiddling
We all have faced it in childhood. Fiddled with knobs and switches that we were specifically told not to. It's instinctive and it comes naturally to all kids. Your mum glares at you and barks- Don't you dare touch that!' And the moment her back is turned, that's the first thing that you do! Well, you generally got a burnt finger and a whack on the butt for that. But this habit can be dangerous if you are an adult. A man in South Africa hadn't apparently grown over this habit. He was flying in a plane. He saw a nice yellow and black striped handle bar and thought- 'that looks kind of interesting. Let me see what it can do.' The next thing he knew he had ejected himself out of the plane and was hurtling down the sky towards the earth. Luckily, he was still in his seat and it had all the emergency landing gear (parachute) which opened automatically. He survived to tell his incredible tale to his grandchildren!
