Why are we such pushovers?

The Aussies are cheats. Well, we knew that all along, didnt we? But what i fail to understand is that why dont we do our homework? How can we let them get away with such blatant cheating in an international game? Why dont we raise a hue and cry and talk tough? The BCCI is making the ICC rich- well, extract your pound of flesh then! Why is it that people still think that Indians are pushovers?
I read this book called God went to beauty school by Cynthia Rylant, a children's writer. I bought it for its interesting title. The book is in verse and has a cool style. God has come down to experience life as a human. He does interesting stuff like getting his nails done (an american term for manicure), goes rollerblading, gets a dog, even gets arrested, etc. The book tries to be reflective and spiritual but doesnt succeed in full. Sometimes it comes across as funny and deep and sometimes it sounds too much like a sermon. A pity, because the book had so much potential.
here are some excerpts i found interesting:
God saw a movie
And it made him cry
He couldnt get over it
He'd seen all the worst
stuff in real life.
But this just knocked him out.
He was mystified
He decided to go find the guy
who wrote the film
He did, and he
looked into his hear.
Normal heart.
Then he went to see the guy
who did the music.
Sure enough: normal heart.
Then he went to see the producer.
He asked him why normal hearts
made God cry.
And the producer said,
It's a mystery.
Well, god understood that.
He didnt go looking for anybody else.
Just went home and cried.

Time and time again, I tell people what truly must be done. Replace the entire Aussie team with Aussie women. Then replace the game with volleyball. Beach volleyball.
