Sunk you America for the Oscars

So Slumdog millionnaire swept the Oscars. I believe it got more sympathy votes than deserving ones. (26/11 is fresh in everyone's memory and somewhere folks thought Mumbai deserves a good turn). It's a good movie - actually what a real bollywood flick should be- fast paced and with a happy ending. But was it really a great movie?

At the award ceremony A R Rehman sang off key and also forgot to thank Gulzar for the shared prize. See why the little chit that everyone carries is so important?

The news channels are the first to claim their share of glory. "India has won 8 oscars!" announced Times Now. Hello? It's a British movie made on India. Last time I checked Danny Boyle was still a Brit.
But hey! no complaints. And as the Japanese filmmaker said in his short speech: Sunk you everybody!
