A farmer's buffalo in Karnataka swallowed his master's cellphone recently. It was wrapped in plastic. The farmer searched for it for a couple of days then gave up. Imagine his surprise when he found it in the buffalo's dung the next day. It was still intact and even showed several missed calls! Well, I think the whole incident proves the following:
a) that things wrapped in plastic raises its value. Even buffaloes fall for this sales gimmick
b) that plastics are so utterly non-biodegradable that even the strongest acids cannot dissolve them. Imagine what they are doing to our environment.
c) that next time you lose your cellphone try taking a closer look at the animals in your home or neighbourhood- even inspect their shit. You might get lucky.
