
Bangalore in September. My first foray to the south of India beyond Goa. Two weeks of training and I brought back a bag full of memories.
Dirt cheap food, tree-lined avenues, heart warming people, snazzy malls and beautiful weather!
My guest house was one street away from office. Munna, the receptionist cum houseboy cum laundryman who got me bread and marie biscuit when I and had tummy ache and moov when my arm hurt, and Tilu the scrumptious cook who dished up amazing breakfast everyday made the trip a memorable one. Of course they goofed up too. I bought some carrot halwa and asked them to serve it during dinner. When dinner arrived and there was no halwa in sight it came out that they had polished it off. I shrugged it off but they got some for me again and i had to wake up from sleep to have it!
